Margherita alla Tierra Firme


  • 1 zucchini sliced
  • 4 medium mushrooms trimmed and sliced
  • 1 small red bell pepper quartered and seeded
  • 1/2 small red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon Herbes de Provence
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • fresh basil torn
  • red pepper flakes optional, for serving



  1. Turn on your Tierra Firme Oven!
  2. Shape the dough into a pizza. (Don ́t know how to do pizza dough? Check our first recipe!)
  3. Once the pizza is shaped gently place it onto the preheated pizza stone (which can be coated with oil or dusted with flour to prevent the dough from sticking) and add on the toppings.. Make sure to only add a thin layer of sauce and cheese for the best crispy pizza crust. If you would like, you can also brush the crust with olive oil for an extra crispy crust.
  4. Decor your pizza with slides of all the veggies you have!
  5. Then, bake the pizza for 14-20 minutes until the crust is browned and the pizza is cooked through. Half way through baking, remove the pizza and turn it 180 degrees in the oven. The time you bake your pizza depends on the thickness and size.
  6. Remove the pizza from the oven and slice into 8 even slices using a pizza cutter. Enjoy immediately!
